Excellence Corps provides Detroit youth with leadership, career, and workforce training rooted in self-discovery and community connection. Participants build technical and soft skills through mentorship, workshops, and real-world experience—all while discovering the power of their own voice.
Our curriculum focuses on ten key areas—The Big Ten—that help students thrive both personally and professionally: communication, collaboration, leadership, financial literacy, and more.

Detroit Youth Summit
Where Youth and Leaders Come Together to Build Detroit.
The Detroit Youth Summit is a one-day experience that unites over 350 youth, educators, and leaders for conversation, collaboration, and community. Through panels, performances, and workshops, participants explore Detroit’s legacy and how they can shape its future.
